Awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature, Samuel Beckett was an Irish novelist, playwright, and poet. Best known for his play "Waiting for Godot", Beckett attended the same school as Oscar Wilde and was a student of James Joyce. This program will discuss Beckett and his works and will be presented by LeMoyne's Kate Costello-Sullivan. Professor Costello-Sullivan holds a Ph.D. in English/Irish Studies from Boston College.
This program is in celebration of the Irish community in the CNY area.
