 Professor Tara Ross will continue her program focused on the efforts by African Americans to obtain full civil rights from 1965 to present. Professor Ross seeks to dispel the myths and clear away the cloud of romanticism that surrounds the Movement. In addition, the program will look at the strategies utilized by those advocating for and opposing the movement for civil rights then and now, including the role of black conservatives.
