Intro to Mindfulness Practices

 Mindfulness is the ability to intentionally focus our attention on the present moment and to accept it without judgment. Studies support many benefits of mindfulness as a key element in stress reduction, overall well-being and happiness. There is much evidence that mindfulness can be cultivated through practice. This series will facilitate brief experiences with several mindfulness practices including stillness while following the breath and mindful walking. Additionally, tips and tools to explore an individual daily practice that fits your schedule will be offered.
