This is a fitness event like no other! Food tastings, relaxation techniques, exercises for all fitness levels plus other demonstrations will give you the tools to put together a healthy lifestyle for mind, body and soul. Do some light stretching and then embark on a library scavenger hunt to get your steps in for the day!
Try a variety of techniques to help you get healthy including:
Some simple Yoga poses
A light therapy session to improve circulation, decrease stress, and reduce pain
A guided mindfulness practice such as following the breath or body scan
Finding your balance point using T'ai Chi
Experiencing essential oils
Engaging in dynamic stretching and movement
Taste a high nutrient snack
Get your Body Mass Index
Knowing your numbers health assessment
An analysis of your sitting and standing postures
Learning about body position and proper support for a good night’s sleep
Donning some boxing gloves and giving kickboxing a whirl
Discover the benefits of increasing plant-based foods in your diet
Sipping a green smoothy & finding out why it's good for you and delicious too!
Working with a nationally certified personal trainer who will lead you through exercises modified to your personal ability level.
Also find out how to stop the spread of chronic, preventable disease through weekly prompts and programs designed to sustain healthy behaviors.
