Event Type: Adult Programs
Date: 5/23/2019
Start Time: 6:30 PM
End Time: 9:00 PM
Tom Henry will lead us in a discussion considering what America's ideals and identity ought to be following a viewing of the American Creed documentary co-hosted by renowned historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author of American history David M. Kennedy and his colleague former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Fully acknowledging their differences in political outlook, Kennedy and Rice recognize that "a unifying sense of American democratic ideals and identity is fragile."
