In 2020 the nation will celebrate 100 years of the 19th Amendment. The history of the women's suffrage movement in NY state and the nation spanned seventy years, beginning in 1848 when Elizabeth Cady Stanton convened a meeting in Seneca Falls and included many actors such as Syracuse's Matilda Joslyn Gage, Alice Paul and the often overlooked stories of African-American suffragists. The program will include reading assignments, presentation, and discussion. Tom Henry will facilitate.

This program is limited to 15 participants. There will be no walk-ins permitted. Reading assignments will be provided prior to the start of the program.
