Reviews

Review: The story of Hamlet, set in rural Wisconsin in the 2nd half of the 20th century. Edgar Sawtelle is born into a family that has been breeding special dogs for several generations. Edgar is mute, and bonds easily with the dogs. When his Uncle Claude rejoins the family, his troubles begin. I loved the scenes with the dogs, and was intrigued with the author's technique of paralleling the Hamlet tragedy.

Review: Lots of great suggestions on how to put the spirit back into Christmas and get away from the materialistic. Not sure I can get the extended family to agree but we're going to incorporate several of the ideas.
